Arthur L. Coleman
Arthur L. Coleman is the founder and Chief Scientist of OnlineMatters.
Mr. Coleman is well-known in Silicon Valley as a specialist in working
with online and mobile businesses dependent on intelligent automation
to drive their success. Areas he has applied his skills to include
audience segmentation for online advertising, behavioral targeting for
mobile gaming, search engine design, automated bid management for paid
search, and collaborative filtering engines for ecommerce.
Mr. Coleman was an early visionary for numerous online technologies. Over the years, he and his teams have helped create or evolve numerous innovations, such as personal servant robots, the first ecommerce website, the first electronic wallet, elements of the Java platform, current Internet payment and smartcard platforms, vertical search, and advanced analytics platforms. Lin Wang brings over a decade of experience in analytics and customer insights
from multiple industries, including biotechnology, online advertising and mobile gaming.
Over the past 2 years, Mr. Wang implemented all corporate and in-game based analytics strategy at
Glu Mobile while leading on-going improvements and
education in corporate and game based KPI.
Mr. Wang has created numerous predictive models for customer behavior and game
indexes in order to drive revenue and usage through game updates and marketing campaigns.
Prior to Glu Mobile, Mr. Wang was instrumental in the creation of the Custom Analytics group at Nielsen Online. Working with clients such as Microsoft, Google and Coke, Mr. Wang developed strategic summaries to build the on-going competitive strategy for Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Coke's effort to penetrate the younger demographics. Mr. Wang received a BS in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University focused on analytics and marketing strategy. Matt LeBaron
Matt LeBaron brings over a decade of experience in online marketing, database management, and
algorithm development to the OnlineMatters team. Mr. LeBaron was not only one of the
earliest experts in paid search, he was also the first to develop algorithms for an
automated bid management system for PPC bid submissions. The bid management system was
capable of updating PPC bids automatically on over 2 mm keywords every 4 hours.
Mr. LeBaron was the VP of Online Marketing at cFares, a membership-based travel site, where he managed all aspects of the online marketing mix, including PPC, SEO, and affiliate programs. Prior to that he spent 8 years at SHOP.com in a variety of online marketing roles, his last being the Senior Director of Advertising. While at SHOP.com, he also managed a team of nine database engineers that developed and maintained SHOP.com's backend infrastructure. Hank Azarian
Hank Azarian brings close to a decade of applied expertise in multiple ecommerce
sectors, including travel, music, entertainment, online video, consumer finance and
personal real estate. Mr. Azarian has worked with dozens of websites implementing SEO
best practices in keyword identification, content development strategy, link authority
development, viral/social media optimization, RSS feed optimization, and the metrics
to measure and improve upon these efforts.
Mr. Azarian's roster of clients has included Fandango, Comcast Cable, Helio, and United Online, among many others. Hank received a BA in History from Chapman University and a JD from the Southwestern University School of Law. Joe Morin

Sean Carlos has been managing international online presences for major corporations for almost a decade.
He has been a specialist in SEO and web analytics for international corporations since 2005. Prior to that,
he was IT Manager of Italian real estate portal CasaClick.it, part of the Pirelli Group.
Mr. Carlos has had prior roles at Hewlett Packard and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). He gained an early understanding of many of the problems that search engines face today in unstructured text indexing and retrieval through the development and implementation of an early enterprise search application while at LACMA. In addition to his client work, Mr. Carlos has collaborated with the Web Analytics Association and the University of British Columbia in producing the first known Web Analytics course. Mr. Vartan is Managing Director of OnlineMatters Brand
Management practice. Mr. Vartan collaborates
with OnlineMatters via Aegis Partners, a specialized marketing firm that
helps companies create and leverage brands. He has over twenty-five
years experience in corporate positioning and identity, product development,
marketing, advertising, and design consulting.
Over his career, Mr Vartan has helped numerous Fortune 500 companies develop
their brand positions and presences. These include E&J
Gallo Winery, Maybelline (a division of Schering-Plough),
Gillette, Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola Foods.
Mr. Vartan attended Princeton University, has a BSBA degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Ralph Severini
Ralph Severini is a senior management, sales and marketing executive with over
twenty years experience in high tech and consumer marketing.
Most recently he served as Director for Endeca Technologies, a leader in search and business intelligence. Prior to Endeca, he was an executive with Open Text (NASDAQ: OTEX) which focuses on content management, social networking, search and digital asset management. Previously, he held senior executive roles at Sungard Data Systems (NASDAQ: SDS), Entrust Technologies (NASDAQ: ENTU), Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: JAVA) and AT&T (NYSE: T). Ralph holds a bachelor degree in mathematics from Rutgers University in NJ, plus both Master of Science and MBA degrees having attended the Stevens Institute of Technology in NJ, and Golden Gate University and University of Southern California in CA. His core thesis in graduate business school was Marketing in the Recording Industry.
